What does it cost to hire The Old Fashioned Mobile Bar? 

Every event is custom, and we tailor pricing specifically for your event. Typical events can range from $1000 and up. Request a quote now. 

Do you provide the alcohol? 

As much as we would love to, North Carolina ABC laws prevent us from purchasing the alcohol or selling it to you. We will help you calculate exactly how much alcohol is needed and where to shop. After this, we will manage the rest!

What drinks can you serve? 

Whatever you want! We can make and serve many alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to go along with your event.

My go-to bar serves this cocktail called "blank" and we want to offer it for our guests. Can you recreate our fave?

What kind of events can you do? 

We are big believers in fun. We can bring the Old Fashioned Mobile bar to everything from rehearsal dinners and weddings, backyard parties, bachelor / bachelorette parties, kid’s birthday parties (hello frozen lemonade or hot chocolate!), tailgate parties and corporate functions and events and so much more. 

How big is the bar? 

The trailer is 7.5’ wide, 8’ tall and 17’ long (which includes the hitch).

Can the bar go inside? 

Absolutely… as long as the entryway can accommodate the dimensions -- and the tow vehicle that maneuvers it. We also have a “mini” bar that can go in smaller and harder-to-reach locations.

How far will you travel?

We are based in beautiful Charlotte, NC and do not charge extra for travel within 40 miles of Charlotte. Want The Old Fashioned to travel farther than that? Let’s chat!

How much time do you need to set-up / tear down? 

We typically need 1.5 hours to set-up prior to the event to make sure the drinks are cold and ready, and one hour to tear down and clean up. 

Are you insured? 

We sure are. We have liquor and general liability insurance.

Will you put out a tip jar?

This is ultimately up to you. We will display a tip jar unless you request us not to.

What is required to have the Old Fashioned at our event? 

We need a flat, even and firm ground for the bar. If serving kegs, we will also need access to power outlets (Don’t have power outlets? We can get a generator for a small additional fee). 

Can we rent the Old Fashioned mobile bar for photoshoots? 

YES! The Old Fashioned Mobile Bar is available for photographers to rent for photoshoots. Email us for more info!

We have our own bartenders for our event already OR I’d like to rent the trailer for an event at my own bar, brewery or festival. Do you allow rentals of just the trailer? 

Absolutely! Shoot us an email, and we can chat.

What is your cancellation policy?

You have 48 hours from booking to cancel with a full refund on the retainer, after which no refunds will be granted. If you do need to postpone, you may apply your retainer to another event within 12 months of your original event date, subject to availability. A sub-contract will be created reflecting the date change and an additional fee maybe assesed.

A 50% retainer is required to book. This retainer goes towards your total invoice. This retainer is non-refundable as we’ve turned away other people in order to reserve your date.
